Food was good, really good soup and sandwich deal but service very very slow. Took 40 minutes from arriving for wine to come to table, which is way too long. Doubt I will ever be back here

Cellar 22 is a great place for having wine but not much for dinning. The place is lovely and cozy but I was disappointed with the food. The LARGE platter of cheese is definitely not large with the 5 crackers on the side and main course just moderate.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in a Dublin restaurant. Approx 6 staff serving 6 tables, not busy. Took 20 mins to order a drink, took another 20 for it to arrive, despite prompting 2 staff members. 30 mins waiting to order food, no offer to take further drinks order. Staff completely uncoordinated, felt like they had no training. Food was fine, nothing to shout about, cocktail was average. Not cheap for the experience we had.

A nice sophisticated place, lovely ambience, and noise level was not too loud to have a chat with company. Wine selection was excellent and wine was delicious. Food selection wasn't extensive so was expecting the dishes to be bursting with flavour. The selection of cheese, charcuterie and bread all very safe and mild and the larger plates bland. Service was slow but it is the Christmas period and very busy so understandable. Overall decent experience for catching up with friends, excellent as a wine bar and good value for money.

I had been looking forward to trying this place, based on a friend's previous experience. However, I have to say that I was disappointed with what we got for the price paid. One of my friend's who had been there before was surprised at the changes. For example, the selection of bread was just a single slice of three different breads with a tomato type dip - before there was a lot more bread and dips served. We had the large charcuterie and cheese boards. We had to ask what meats and cheeses were being served to us, as it was not explained when delivered to the table. The 'large' was I'd say was more a small to medium sized board, rather than what you would expect for a large. It was a busy spot, city centre and close to Christmas so was to be expected. I would have loved to have enjoyed it more and I would have definitely returned as it is a nice setting. However, it is unfortunately not one that I would consider revisiting in the future.

We celebrated my birthday. It was lovely. It’s just a lovely, quiet spot with good wine and delicious food. The vibes are just right.
