   We were seated at back of the restaurant with minimum lighting. Felt that we not part of the overall restaurant experience. Waiter did not ask if wanted any drinks? A couple to the right of us stated that they were waiting over 20 mins for a waiter, then after a few more minutes, they left the restaurant. We were not impressed! I ordered the calcio and pepe pasta which was good, however, my wife and son both ordered the pasta with meat sauce. This pasta dish was so strong with a black pepper taste, that both my wife and son could not finish their plate, managing less than half. Called over waiter and explained the situation, and was nice enough to offer a new pasta dish, but we said no, and also removed these dishes from our bill. It appeared that you were short staffed, but even the staff that was there, was not very attentive? We had to ask for the water bottle since it was not offered when arrived?

   Our server (who said he was only 2 weeks on the job) was fantastic! He was the only front of house person on & despite having to handle 4 larger groups by himself, the service was great. We had a pepperoni pizza, mushroom ravioli & a chicken pasta dish and they were all great!

   Food was excellent but they were sold out of 4 of the 6 red wines on the menu. And server was somewhat disorganized. Also espresso machine broken so no after dinner cappuccino

   Place was empty on a Thursday night?? Literally empty at 7:30pm. They did not have the rib-eye steak we wanted. They did not have the wine we wanted. ' Garlic bread' is actually a garlic pizza ... but it didn't really taste like garlic?? Pastas were decent. The margarita pizza was flavorful but the crust was wet and very thin. Ambience was blah. Will not go back.

   Food was excellent however service was atrocious and slow despite there being only one other table. Waiter was unfamiliar with simple menu queries, skipped asking my father what he wanted to order entirely and barely came to check on us. Also did not ask if we wanted drinks. Kids meals came out > 20 minutes which made them very cranky as a result. Random mix of 80s and top 40 music blaring loudly did not fit the cozy italian vibe we were hoping for. Hope service is improved in the future as the food is really good overall once you get it.

   We had an excellent meal. The grilled shrimp appetizer was one of the best I’ve ever had; grilled to perfection with a wonderful sauce containing just enough heat. Their wood over pizzas are amazing and with the crowd there on Friday night eating pastas and pizza I am certainly only one of the many supporters.

    Favourite date spot, with tons of parking and one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Try the meat pizza!
