Casual atmosphere with excellent food and service. Second time back to savory the tender beef brisket and try the pork ribs. It is amazing to me that the meats are cooked to perfection but still do NOT have that Smokey taste. The meal was terrific with quality food, but still pricey. Previously, I toured the locomotion like BBQ cooler to see how their food selection was made.

Loved it. A little pricey for frequent dining, but a great place for our anniversary. We were looking for a casual, higher end place and this fit the bill. Totally for meat eaters. Creative cocktails and VERY friendly service.

Second time we’ve been to Central Smoke since the changeover. New favorite restaurant!!! Delicious food, creative cocktails and top-notch service. Great for 2 people or a group!! Wishing them the best and continued success (so we can keep coming back!)!! ; )

Except for one small issue, we would have rated this Outstanding. The issue was that neither of our two servers ever mentioned the daily special to us. It was on the reader board as we entered. I even asked specifically about a special and was told they didn’t have any today. And when asked what was that delious looking roast over there...were told it was the brisket (which it definitely was not) and incidentally they only serve on Friday and Saturday, this was a Tuesday. Of course it was the daily special. The food was outstanding in every way. Ribs - fantastically moist with a trio of sauces; skirt steak done to a beautiful medium rare and side of creamed corn (shown-slurp); beef chuck ribs, perfect. We’ll be back soon.
