   In the reservation I had put it was a birthday. No one mentioned it when I checked in. I’m not sure what the point is asking if you’re celebrating a special occasion? The presentation of the escargot and mussels were disappointing. Served in small Le Creuset dish with focaccia. I was expecting a French baguette with French butter. You are a “French Bistro” are you not?The Caesar Salad was just ribs of Romain on a plate with dressing swirled on top. Also, served with a steak knife. A total contradiction of how the escargot and mussels are served. Overall the food was okay. For the prices charged I would have expected more over the top presentations and authentic French recipes.

   We thoroughly enjoy dining at Ces’t la Vie. Food is delicious but our server Benjamin is the best. Courteous, attentive, and just made dining there a pleasure. We will ask for him when making reservations in the future.

   The food and atmosphere were both incredible! Everyone at the table ordered a different entree and the plates were cleaned! I had the duck which was tender and flavorful. Highly recommend for a great meal!
