   We’ve been dining at Chama Gaúcha for years, and while we’ve tried other churrascarias in town, we always find ourselves coming back. The service is consistently impeccable warm, attentive, and professional. We’ve truly never had a bad experience here. The food is reliably good, the salad bar is always fresh and well-stocked, and the gauchos are prompt and courteous. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in delivering a high-quality dining experience every time.

   My first and last visit there. Went on a Sunday at 530. Service was erratic and unorganized. I either had meat to eat or potatoes but never at the same time. The meat did have a good flavor but definitely not worth the price I paid for it. Was disappointed

   Sunday at 2pm as a party of two (2) we dined at Chama Gaucha - San Antonio. I was billed with 18% auto gratuity when my waitress/service did not merit it. Why?

   The staff and waiters make you feel at home. There’s no rush to get you fed and out the door so others can fill your seats. All the wait staff was very attentive at all times. A little pricy for a non meat eater, but for the ambiance, the quality of the fresh foods at the salad bar, the ability to order al-a-carte, and the home like dining atmosphere without the prep and cleanup, it is far worth the price. Highly recommended for a great dining experience.

   We’ve been dining at Chama for almost a Decade, and it was the first time one of the captains was rude to us. We were getting the same cuts for 20 minutes, and when we asked for more variety for the second time, for what he replied “when you know what you want, let me know”. Leaving aside this, it’s the best steakhouse in San Antonio and we will come back definitely.

   Amazing like always there is no other place. We would go to celebrate anything. Yesterday was even more spectacular. The food was amazing. It always is amazing but for some reason last night, everything taste to die for management was amazing as well. No better place to eat in San Antonio.
