Chapman’s Seafood Restaurant in Canterbury is located in the historic St. Dunstan’s area – a stone’s throw from the Westgate Towers Museum and Gardens and a two-minute stroll from Canterbury West train station. We offer an informal, welcoming atmosphere where good food and friendly customer service is standard, and our kitchen serves only the finest fresh fish sourced from the local area.

Here at Chapmans we offer a wide menu starting our day with the breakfast menu to a set lunch menu and a la carte dinner menu.

    We had a sharing dish for 4 of us which was ample as we all order starters, presentation of starters were nice and tasty but the baked mussels of my main course were too small, my oysters also were on the small side. The price of the set lunch is good value for money. Overall we enjoyed having lunch at the restaurant.

    It’s always a pleasure to go and have dinner here. I’ve been having the same two dishes for nearly 3 years. The scallops as always are delicious and of course the Goan curry. Look forward to returning.

    Sorry to say this was not our best experience of eating out in Canterbury. Many menu items were not available. Service was sadly lacking. For our 47th anniversary celebration it provided a poor reception. We regretted the booking.

    There very few diners when I visited hence the service was good and friendly. Had the soft shell crab which was interesting then the pan fied sole which was great. Nice glass of wine to accompany
