   Very short wait for our table to be ready. Our server was present, attentive but not intrusive. He was helpful to find a wine for my wife. Drinks arrived promptly. Orders taken and food delivered as ordered. Crab bisque was awesome!! We will return!

   I am a huge fan of the lobster bisque when they have it! By far the best I have ever had. However the steak and crab cakes are the reason we always come back for more. You cannot go wrong with this place. The lives music is a wonderful touch. It is where my husband and I had our reception for our wedding, it will always be my favorite date night spot.

   My husband loves the catfish at Char, he's sorry it's only available during lunch on Fridays! I almost always order the corn meal dusted redffish (served with gritds and spinach). I like reisling and wish they offered more than one choice! The service is always good

   Great place for a weekday lunch. Not packed so not noisy. I also love the brunch with music. Try the pecan pie with ice cream. I split a piece with my friend. Out or this world delicious. Today's Tennessee catfish was perfectly done, as were the sides.

   Definitely a 5 star experience. The green fried tomatoes were amazing, the wedge salad with the comeback sauce was crisp and tasty, the filet with mushrooms and loaded baked potatoe was perfectly prepared and melted in my mouth, the Mac & cheese was delicious (brought the rest home), and the pecan pie with vanilla ice cream was the perfect ending. Great evening! Thank you Jessica for adding to the experience by constantly checking on us and giving us great recommendations.

   The steak frites was excellent. The filet mignon was even better. The pecan butter crunch for dessert was delicious. Our waitress provided excellent service. Look forward to dining again in the future.

    We went to Char for the first time for an anniversary dinner. We asked for a quiet booth in the reservation. Upon arrival at the restaurant we were greeted by the hostesses with a “happy anniversary”. Our table had a card signed by the staff. We were given a quiet cozy booth! And the service from Shannon and the food were excellent. No complaints. And the live piano music was very nice. The pacing was perfect. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, I had a wedge and the ribeye, my wife had the peanut ginger chicken salad. All dishes were very good! Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you Char staff!
