   My wife and I made reservations for dinner and found ourselves eating mostly “happy hour” food and drinks. I always request no salt and the food was salty. I ordered an old Fashion and it had to be re-made correctly. We’ve been there many times but this was not a memorable experience for us. We adore the ocean view at sunset, so I’m sure we’ll be back.

   The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a wonderful ocean view. I’m not sure if they were under staffed but the restaurant didn’t seem very busy and the service was really slow. The timing of the starters and entrees was way off. Our starter took 15-20 minutes and our entrees came out about a minute later. Not coursed out very well. The food itself is good, not great. The ambiance makes up for a lot of it.

   I brought my kids who were visiting from northern Cali here to celebrate my birthday. All of the steaks that came out were either rare or overcooked. Our server not once apologized. Forgot our steak that was sent back to cook. The manager did comp the steak but the way it was handled was just poor. Not to mention no dessert for my birthday celebration was offered. Just bummed.

   We had never been here before and just really enjoyed our time. We were seated with an ocean view, which is always nice but the service all the way around from the greeting to weight staff to the food runners and other attending was first rate. Even the manager came by and Checked in and visited with us. We got the special for the day and it was just great on all fronts as the food was made just the way we like it. We will certainly plan to come back again.

    When we got situated at the table the waiter informed us that they did not have a lot of food due to. They ran out. They did not have scallops lamb chops certain fish that was on the menu they had to run out. I almost want to say they didn’t even have chicken so it was disappointing that we were limited on the food that they had in stock.
