Bonjour, summer. Meet us on the rooftop for another season atop Chicago’s stunning skyline at Château Carbide, a French-inspired cocktail lounge where hotel guests and locals alike can take in the city’s summer splendor with crisp Möet & Chandon, icy signature cocktails, a spring menu of small bites and favorites, and views…forever.
Fridays & Saturdays, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm.

Please note the following policies:

**Light Bite service is available until 10:00 PM
**Outdoor tables are subject to availability, and a reservation does not constitute an outdoor table. We do our best to accommodate all guest seating requests.

Views are nice. It’s probably better when the weather is better and you can sit outside. Hot chocolate on menu but we’re told they don’t serve any hot beverages. It was a very strange service experience. Maybe just an off night. Dessert was delicious though.

My best friend and I booked a table in the winter lodges at sunset and it was beautiful and the food and drinks were so yummy. The fire and blanket kept us pretty warm for a very cold night too thanks!

Even if you only experience this winter outdoor dining only once in your lifetime, you should! It is beautiful outside surrounded by the downtown Chicago skyline! You stay warm and cozy long enough to enjoy a meal and drinks. It’s a wonderfully unique experience!

We went for cocktails and an appetizer to the outdoor rooftop bar. The drinks were well made and waffle frites with melted Brie were good. The booth was cozy with a fire pit and blankets.

The food and service were excellent! \ The "Heated Lodge" that we paid extra for was a lean-to with an inefficient fire table at the open end. It was impossible to stay warm inside. It is now clear why they do not show pictures of it. Very disssapointed that we paid extra for this.

The concept is really nice, however The waitstaff was unpleasant and not attentive to our small group on the roof. We waited too long for our order to be taken and then even longer to get another drink or order food.
