   Always a good place. We live walking distance and this place is our go to! Love the food and the drinks and the service! It’s like going to someone’s home. Friendly and welcoming and warm and comforting!

   Food was underwhelming especially given the price tag for Valentines Day. The service was good but the food took forever to come out. We were there for over two hours, not by choice; but presumably because the kitchen was backed up. We have gotten the food there a few times before and it was much better than what we had on Valentine’s Day. We sat at the bar and the bartender serving us was good and comped us a drink because of how long the food was taking to come out. Overall it was disappointing, but I will go back a some point

   Food on Valentine’s Day was good, but the price tag it came with was outrageous for what we got. The only appetizer I liked was the bread. Scallops and salad were a let down. Ravioli was delicious and steak was perfectly cooked. The appetizer just brought a bad start to the meal. And for omakase price, I expected more

   One of our party has numerous allergies. Our server went out of her way to help her find healthy choices for the guest, including checking with the kitchen to confirm that two pastas were suitable. A wonderful experience, delicious dishes!

   The food at dinner was truly delicious! It was also wonderful to see Karen there who I have known for so long when she was in Monsieur Benjamin! Our server was Anna this time and she was truly so nice and helpful!

   Ambience: Top notch. Gorgeous space with ample natural light, beautiful tile work, cool vintage cookware, tasteful minimalist linens/table setting, and lots of (real!) plants. Service: Excellent. All staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. On my most recent visit, our server was Adam and he was fantastic. He made great recommendations and was very attuned to our preferences insofar as pacing, level of attention we needed, and overall vibe. Food: Awesome, but not across the board (some things are just good, whereas others are out-of- -this-world GREAT). At brunch, the beet salad was beautiful and light. The perfect start to a meal. Potatoes with garlic confit were phenomenal - some of the best I've ever had. Chicory salad was too bitter. (Yes, I know chicory is bitter, but when mixed with some softer-tasting lettuces it works, so I would suggest rounding it out a little with something. like little gems.) Avocado on tigelle was great, as was the eggs benedict-style dish. Dinner has the same thing going on - some dishes are to die for (chicken, roasted veggies, salads) and others are merely good. Overall, a really beautiful and impressive spot. Pricey, but whatever.

   We went for sunday brunch and Che Fico did not disappoint. Everything from food, to service to ambiance was excellent. We both ordered the Polenta Di Manzo. Plenty of rich flavors, perfectly seasoned. We also shared the Insalata di Radicchio and a side of their roasted potato (get this!) DELICIOUS. We will be back!
