Dining together allows us to better understand who we are, regardless of our social status. The food does not have to be elegant, complicated, or fancy. We find that busy people like simple food—the busier they are, the simpler the food. Our menu is straightforward, down-home Southern food with a few more contemporary dishes.

Getting back to the table allows us to love and nurture each other and renew connections to our families—however they may be configured—in this diverse and ever-changing society. Such connections are crucial in a fast-paced world where we feel more disconnected every day. One of the best ways we know how to restore that daily balance is to sit down at our table.

We should all think about returning to the sanctity of the table, where we can rebuild our families whether they be given or chosen, and reconnect with those we love and choose to love. Our table is a familiar, uncomplicated, friendly place where we can celebrate.

     Service was helpful. She was nice. The food came out piping hot. The biscuits melted in my mouth. I love the little apple jam on the side was excellent and the chicken awesome a nice crust on the chicken which made it crispy moist, and the house made hot sauce. Awesome. We will be back.

    Excellent as always! Rainy night so it wasn’t was crowded as normal. Food was wonderful, portion sizes - large, doggie bags for everyone.

    The food was great but all the up charges are too much. Up charge for gravy on you potato Up charge for tartar sauce for the catfish but the chicken catfish biscuits and grits are great

    Best meal of our entire trip! Hushpuppiea and deviled eggs were to die for!! The hummingbird cake was just like my grandmother used to make. 10/10

    We always look forward to dinner @ Reunion. Except for the two hostesses who didn't seem to know what to do with the very large non- reservation group that walked in front of us when we arrived, it was a very pleasant experience. Eliza, our server, was pleasant, efficient, and very accommodating. The food was excellent, and we look forward to returning again soon. Best mashed potatoes ever!

    A winter weeknight is ideal to visit Navy Pier, the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, very pleasant! Their famous fried chicken is indeed juicy & delicious, although I found it a touch salty. The chicken & dumpling soup was made from scratch with shredded chicken instead of cubed, however, it needed a bit of salt. Everything we tried was very good, and the server was knowledgeable & friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
