My wife's 40th Bday dinner. Thought this would have been a great place. She ordered scallops and the were rubbery, like frozen and reheated. The mushrooms were hard. I ordered the "crispy" fish and chips and even asked for them extra crispy and they were soggy, mushy and oozing frying oil. I couldn't even eat them. For one last try we ordered crème brûlée and to my un-surprise it was ice cold in the middle. Very disappointing. If you're a foodie don't eat here. They are trying for an elevated menu with elevated prices but the kitchen and manager just does not have the talent. The only good part was the bartender was great and the drinks were great as well. Very disappointed I chose this place for such a monumental dinner. :(

Stacey was attentive and the view of the harbor was romantic. My husband and I enjoyed the scallops and lamb chops. Side salads were large enough to share.

Everything was wonderful! My only critique is the little crab claws in the seafood tower, was a bit over cooked… but other than that server the area and feel was top notch!

We had a lovely dinner and walked around the ship afterwards. Don’t miss ordering the rolls, they come in a cast iron pan and are delicious. The filet and swordfish were both delicious!

The venue is why you’re here because no one would or should drive to Long Beach for the food on the Queen Mary. My scallops were underdone, which is really, really hard to do. The Queen Mary Martini? Way too much vermouth and not very cold. Rolls were stale. A purported fine dining experience does not serve stale food. Not a hard rule to follow, if you ask me. Anyway, the appetizers in the Observation Bar are pretty good…

Very nice place. Service was superior. Food was overpriced for what you get. Fish and chips was my dinner with chowder. Four fish fingers were like we got in elementary school lunch. $30+ just too much.

The Chelsea Chowder House did not come close to meeting our expectations. The service was excellent but everything else was below expectations. The cioppino was substandard. It was closer to a bouillabaisse rather than a cioppino. It tasted like they bought grocery store vegetable broth and put in some soggy fish. The clams had no meat in them, just empty shells. All this in a small bowl for $60. My wife’s halibut was better but not impressive. We don’t recommend this restaurant.
