I have already, told everyone that I know about the wonderful experience that we had! Kate was our waitress! She was fantastic! She definitely, is an asset to Cherokee Tap Room! We are looking forward to return soon and bring some other relatives and friends along! We will be sure to ask for Kate!

We’ve been to a Cherokee a few times now and the food is always excellent. They often add new items to the menu which is great! Definitely would recommend!

This is normally one of our favorite restaurants. Mother's Day was a disaster. It started when we went to order, were told they had run out of 5 items on the limited menu. We had to recheck menu and ordered. While we waited, were told they had run out of 2 more items that we had ordered and had run out of milk which my 8 yr old daughter had ordered. Our waitress was slow and inattentive and unapologetic, our reservation was at 1:45 and we left the restaurant at 3:30. We heard waitresses telling tables that they ran out of more food over and over again. Other patrons in the restaurant were very vocal with their displeasure and asked for the owner but he sent out his manager to take the heat. Table next to us had their bill reduced so I was very surprised when our waitress brought the bill and made no mention of reducing it. I then took the bill to the manager and voiced my displeasure and in her defense she tore up the bill, but I should not have had to ask in the first place. In my opinion the owner royally screwed up by not coming out to speak with the remaining patrons and offer to make it right in some way or another. By not doing that, I'm sure he permanently lost customers that day. Having said all that, this is not the norm for this restaurant. We eat here quite often with no issues and the food is usually excellent as well as the service. They were not prepared for Mother's Day, unfortunately it ruined the day for some. Hopefully they will be better prepared for the next occasion and learn from this.

Very appreciative of McDonald House benefit for that evening. Food was great as was the service. Will definitely dine there again and recommend to friends and family.

The service was terrible. We waited a least 10 minutes until our waitress came to take our drink order. Then our drink order sat on the bar for 10 minutes before the hostess brought the drinks over. The Same thing happened when we ordered our second round of drinks. My husband asked for his Hamburg medium rare and it came well done. It was tasty, but overdone. I asked for my poached eggs to be cooked runny and one egg was done right but the other was overdone. The dish is very tasty, but this was the second time I ordered eggs Benedict and both times the eggs were overdone. We really like the Tap Room but the service and food have been inconsistent.

Always an enjoyable evening here. Seated as soon as we arrived and we were glad to have reservations. Four of us ordered four difference entrees and none of us were disappointed. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Special drink and food menu was available due to Valentine’s Day. Nice choices. We did not have dessert, but the table next to us did. It looked great.

Everything here is exceptional. The owners could not be friendlier and more excited you are there. There are no words to describe how delicious the food was! We can’t wait to come back!

Interesting choices on menu. Very good food, leaning to gourmet in a bar atmosphere. No matter what you will not feel uncomfortable here. Great brews but a few lessons in mixology would help. I’ll keep returning. You should try. Love Brunch also.

I have been here several times under the new ownership. I am always pleased with the food, the service can be a bit cumbersome, but in general they are efficient and pleasant. I like that they offer choices that other local places don't (I love the duck burger!) The taco's are also good, they are stuffed full of filling, so they get really messy. Had to eat them with a knife and fork. I was disappointed this last time because the open table menu shows that they have pizza, but they do not offer this yet...I keep hearing it's coming. They need to update the menu so it represents what is offered. The also offer a limited wine menu, but I like the choices, it isn't the same wines as other local restaurants. The beer/draft menu has a good selection. All in all, it's a great option in the local area.
