Chesapeake’s West derives much of its authentic Eastern Shore qualities from décor that features genuine nautical antiques and artifacts. Pairing this cozy, seaside ambiance with welcoming service and fresh ingredients has made it the perfect spot for creating memorable moments.

As part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants, we offer fresh seafood that’s sourced daily, local, handcrafted microbrews, an extensive wine list and prime-graded beef. We are known for live Maine lobster, Maryland Crab cakes, a variety of fresh fish, and assorted oyster selection.

    We were seated at a booth which typically is the coldest spot in the restaurant. We asked the manager if we could move to another booth or table that was not as drafty as the end booth (so drafty that the paper menus were blowing). The manager said if we moved we would have to change servers of which we had specifically requested the one we were to be seated with. He said he couldn’t swap servers tables. I understand that if the restaurant was busy but there was hardly anyone in there. So, we decided to leave and were very disappointed. We typically eat at Chesapeak’s 2 to 3 times a week.

    My husband’s crab cakes were excellent. The calamari was also very good but the tuna salad was not a good presentation. The tuna was good but the salad part was not.
