Had to wait although we had a reservation. Then tried to sit another party that came after us ahead of us before we said something to the “hostess”. All he had to say was “oh” & sat us. Once we sat down, no apologies for the wait. No one came over to give us silverware, water, not even an introduction. Service was too poor to even try the food. Got up and left. I will never be back. First impressions are everything.

When we arrived for our reservation we still had to wait 15 minutes just to be seated. Then was told for a party of 5 they only had seats at the bar. We got our drinks on time and nobody came to take our order. Our reservation was for 12:45 and we ended up leaving at 2:00 because we still never got serviced. It was a poor experience.

I want to say that my wife and I had high expectations for this restaurant and I think that’s where it started. I ordered from the restaurant week menu and they were out of fried crab claws. I wasn’t offered a substitute or anything. There wasn’t a notice anywhere in the restaurant either. I decided to order a drink, just a beer, they were out of modelos. So you can’t go wrong with a Jack and Coke. They didn’t have Jack nor coke. We finally ordered and my appetizer(jalapeño cornbread) came out cold and I couldn’t get my fork through it. That was fixed by them bringing me a fresh appetizer. Ultimately, I feel like the place is small but intimate. It’s not big enough for the two servers that were there to not know who’s food was who’s. There were quite a few mixups. Not sure what was going on. I’m actually just going to accept that it was probably a bad day for the servers and the restaurant itself.

Wonderful experience at CheSa’s Bistro! Even with a full crowd of hungry people and a smaller staff - they made sure we were well taken care of. Brianna, our server, was wonderful! We even received a beautiful greeting from another staff member and acknowledged the wait time. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had reservations for 1:15 and didn’t get our food until roughly 2:10. We were never provided an update as to why it was taking so long. The waitress was not attentive. Everyone else seemed to have no issues receiving their food even ones that arrived after us. The beignet waffles were dense and difficult to cut and weren’t prepared as described on the menu. When the manager who was very visible during our visit finally came over to apologize for the wait she seemed to be oblivious to just how long we waited before receiving our food. She did apologize and ended up comping my meal but she tried to prove me wrong regarding the restaurant week menu stating the waffles came with peach compote and not what I was served. Somehow she wasn’t aware there was a change to the menu. I’m confused as to how the manager is present but unaware of what is going on. There wasn’t a large crowd so no reason why our experience/service wasn’t better. My husband’s food was fine so I guess that counts for something.

Once again, I sincerely do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you leaving this review. As the owner - my request to review the menu in front of you was to make sure that the server did not give you the wrong one menu. While there was an error on our part of how the order was put into the system we do apologize again for the delay and mix up in the order. Hence, which is why I remove the charge off the bill and offered a complimentary appetizer. We sincerely hope that you consider dining with us again.

We felt like the service was lackluster, it took forever to get our appetizers, then they were out of our requested appetizer and when we found out we had already been waiting for 15-20 minutes, the food came out lukewarm. Just not a good first impression.
