Chez Dominique is a family run restaurant serving French and European food. We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir. We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks. Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room. Bookings of 7-8 will be seated in the Private Dining Room. We look forward to welcoming you to Chez Dominique where you can enjoy good food and drink in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

Relaxed yet efficient service. Being coeliac, I was made to feel welcome and a normal customer.
There were a lot of choices for me on the menu and the chef is clearly well informed and flexible. We had a lovely meal (it was my husband’s birthday) and the fact that we took nearly two hours over lunch rather than a rushed hour says a lot for the ambience, staff and food. Thank you very much

Had a delightful meal after the rugby on a Sunday. Was nice not to have to choose a Sunday roast as well.
All food was delicious, especially the lamb rump.
Service was attentive and polite and would definitely go back again.

The presentation of the food and quality lacked taste.
Having arrived at the venue was seated next to Kitchen and bar with full view the open kitchen area.
