Chicago Prime Italian is the local, family-owned hotspot in Schaumburg, just 10 miles from O'Hare Airport and 25 Miles from the beautiful shores of the city of Chicago.

The restaurant’s elegant décor captures Chicago Prime's rich history and presents the perfect backdrop for its celebrated Italian cuisine. Multiple dining rooms provide a warm and inviting atmosphere from oversized windows framed by lush curtains, a cozy fireplace in one of our dining rooms and a magnificent chandelier in the Dome dining room.

Steak cane out overdone, it took almost our whole dinner to get a new steak. When it finally came out it was mediocre. We probably won't be back Capitol Grille is 10 times better food and service.

We had an excellent family Christmas meal for the 6 of us. Burrata and crab and spinach dip appetizers were awesome and everyone enjoyed their pasta dinners. Staff was so attentive and we couldn’t have had a better time. Always a great experience.

Chicago Prime Italian might possibly have the best chef in the Chicago area. Every dish was creative, well-seasoned and delicious. Take it from an Italian-American who grew up in the NY/NJ area with relatives that can cook and the best Italian restaurants. The service was outstanding, also. Although the pricing is mid-high, it is worth every dollar especially if you are a real foodie that is interested in "real Italian food!" I was celebrating my 5th anniversary, and the staff acknowledged my special day with a complimentary tiramisu dessert and sparkler. The entire experience was first rate. Trust me... visit Chicago Italian Prime.

The music from the bar was too loud & created a scenario of dining guests trying to talk loud & above the music. Some buffer is needed as there are two different experiences … party / dining Maybe close off the entry to the bar to contain that as a separate experience. The food, drinks all good. The service was outstanding. Full house yet our waitress was attentive and didn’t miss any of our wants as she kept an eye on our wine, water and checked back periodically This venue offers, as I said. Two different experiences and would be more appreciated if they did have a quieter area for fine dining as everything else is spot on. Return ? Absolutely !

The service was slower than expected. i had to ask for our waiter twice during the evening. we were told that last minute big parties came in and the restaurant was un prepared for these. The food took longer to arrive then expected
