We really enjoyed our New Year’s dinner and celebratory experience at Chico Malo. Our server was exceptional and really elevated the experience with his attention to detail and thoughtfulness. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options that we simply didn’t have room for, thank you!!!

Food was as expected server was rude place was not even at half full server was rude getting a simple bottle coke took 20 min because he couldn’t open cap explained he was waiting on bartender to do it for him also got order wrong 3 times and food arrived cold like it was sitting waiting on server again !!

Service was great. Food was delicious… the tortillas 😮😮 fire. I ordered the smoke show and it was yum yum yum. The fundido was yum yum yum. I’ll be back for sure.

Food was great! What a cute restaurant! I maybe wouldn’t come with a family and baby in the evening but we were celebrating a birthday and had no idea! I guess they also don’t do a birthday treat, but that’s ok. Food was delicious! Definitely a cute place for girls night out, or date night!

I normally don't leave reviews on restaurants. Unless, I have either have an outstanding or horrible experience. If it was 1-2 things that went wrong, no big deal. I would keep it to myself. But, everything from the moment we showed up to when we left was disappointing and made for an overall BAD night and experience. You expect more from a medium-high priced restaurant. We arrive and the hostess wanted to seat us at one of those high top long tables whereby it feels as if you are sitting at a table on a cruise ship with strangers and can hear every word they say. So, we asked for a booth, or a four top table. We had a reservation and it was early, 6:45, not crowded at all. Instead we waited another 10 min for them to seat us at a two top way in the back with the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE seats we've ever sat in. Embarrassingly we had to ask to please move us to another table. Again, they seat us at a two top with a different, but equally uncomfortable chair. The table was large enough to place one appetizer and two drinks. Not a full dinner. To make matters worse, the entire evening my friend was bumped by people passing by. Includingthe staff. No apologies at all. Rude. Literally, like you are on a plain and have a small child kicking your seat the entire flight. We were too embarrassed by then to say anything. We felt like we were the "older" guests that were inconveniencing the help by being there. And, one after another the hostess kept seating many couples after us at 4 top tables!! They ALL OF A SUDDEN HAD TABLES AVAILABLE THAT WE REQUESTED, FOR THEM?? Talk about discrimination. The food was the only good part, but I asked for flour tortillas and was given corn. When I reminded our waiter (who acted like he didn't want to be there the entire time), he didn't even apologize & then charged us for the "extra tortillas". The entire night was horrible.

I’ve been here a few times, and have always felt it was alright, nothing great. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The chips and 3 salsas were good, and everyone got the carne asada. This is a grilled rib eye delivered in a mesquite smoke dome. It was really good! I will definitely be coming back!

Lied to us stating that we couldn’t have a booth since we had 3 ppl shower the app showed openings all night… it was also super quite never had tech bad service will not go back. This was my 5 th time here no issues
