Established in 2005, Chilli Fagara first opened on Graham Street in Soho and soon attracted a loyal clientele with their authentic, fiery Sichuan cuisine.

The shop's intimate size and welcoming interiors – with unique yet traditional design elements that reflect the beauty of the Sichuan region – create warmth, while the cuisine creates fire.

Based on the Chinese Ma La Tang concept for numbing (ma), burning (la) and neutral (tang) tastes of Sichuan food, the menu represents a breath-taking range of culinary possibilities fashioned by the chef each day, all using the finest ingredients.

    The food here is the reason to go. The waitstaff isn't properly trained or they simply don't care. Our waiter spilled one of our drinks, which went all over the table and we mopped it up. We fully expected him to bring another one to replace the spilled one, but he didn't. Okay, we let that go. We expected the drink then to be taken off the bill, which is wasn't. When we inquired about that, he said, oh, it was all finished. We explained that it wasn't and that we still had all of the soaked cloths on the table (despite being served several dishes during the meal these were never cleared) so at that point, he conceded to take the drink off the bill. We weren't asking for anything special, just what was fair. Don't know if I will go back, despite the tasty food. There are a lot of yummy restaurant alternatives in HK, that is for sure. They need to step up there game a bit.

    We called and booked for table of 6 as I really enjoyed the food the night before. But after we booked on open table they said they couldn’t agree to the time and shifted us to 8.00pm. But then said we only had 1 hour 15 mins to eat. For a table of 6 it’s impossible to enjoy the time without being rushed and paying top dollar. E we cancelled and didn’t go. Ended up in Zuma where we spent 3 hours top rated service and top quality food. Was expensive but so worth it.

    Has the quality of normal restaurant but the price is Michelin 1 star. After I checked that the restaurant was a 1 star until like 10 years ago and didn't get any except the Michelin guide on 2022. But the price is crazy

    Food was fine. But despite having a reservation, be told you only have the table for an hour and be rushed through dinner is not a pleasant experience. Certainly not value for money, nor expected of an dinner out.
