    Stopped in on a Tuesday night for dinner. Both did the tasting menu with drinks. The food and service was excellent. Service started a little quickly, but when they realised that we were not in a rush, they changed the pace. Andrew the server was great, attentive nut not overly so. Definitely recommend, and will definitely be going back.

    We were with our son, a chef from out of town. He lived in Hawaii and is sophisticated in the kind of food offered by China Chilcano. He loved the food, was impressed by the service. We heartily agreed with him. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience.

    This is a favorite restaurant in Penn Quarter. We often have the tasting menu which is extraordinary but we were pushed for time and chose Al La Carte. We were not disappointed - as always the food and service were excellent. We will certainly be back!

    Terrific food with an interesting fusion menu very different for Jose Andres’s other DC venues. We had relatively quiet seating but most of the restaurant is quite open and noisy. Excellent and attentive service
