   Nice atmosphere. Lovely staff. Fish was dry and overcooked. Kingfish is a miss. The mushroom and eggplant is flavoursome. Overall the quality has changed since first opening, and wondering if its new owners or cost of produce now

   Horrible experience. They never told us how long it was (90 minutes) when we sat down, and they also didn’t inform us when the last order was. I only found out when I asked, and by then, it had already passed. When we brought it up, the manager just blamed us for not checking in advance instead of acknowledging that they should at least let customers know when they arrive. On top of that, the drinks came out really slowly, which wasted a lot of our time. The portion size was ok but to be honest, it tasted quite poor and definitely not authentic. At the end of the day, I understand their perspective as a business but they wouldn’t take any of my feedback and attacked me instead which is why I’m writing this review (which I’ve never done before). Overall not a great experience and wouldn’t want to support a business that operates like this.

When booking the bottomless package via OpenTable, the first line states that the package is available for 90 minutes as well as on our website and all social posts referring to this offering. Our team follows strict RSA guidelines and cannot serve package drinks beyond the 90-minute service period.    Really enjoyed the food at the new venue. Seemed a lot better than previous dinners at the old place. Food was very fresh and tasty and the staff always had a smile on their face

   China Diner in Bondi has a new home and it is a vibrant restaurant. It was packed with not an empty seat in the house on New Years evening. Through the huge rush, every single staff member was attentive, extremely polite, very friendly and professional. Big tick for customer service. The drinks menu was extensive and had interesting cocktails. I would recommend the spicy cocktails. The food was of high quality and flavoursome. Our party of 8 chose the banquet both normal and veggie. Delicious food and drink only topped by the terrific level of service. All in all a very pleasant evening. The price was great as well. Good food at a great price. All round excellent value. Well done to the team. Thank you and a Happy New Year!
