Chop House is an innovative blend of classic British steakhouse and cocktail bar brought to you by the team behind Monteiths & the White Horse Oyster Bar. Provenance is at the centre of the Chop House offer and we use only the finest beef sourced from artisan suppliers across Scotland.
The meat is dry aged for up to 90 days to add flavour, increase tenderness then the beef cooked on a charcoal grill, specially designed to give a subtle smoky flavour. Our fantastic food offering is matched by an extensive wine list from around the world and exceptional cocktail list. Open 7 days for lunch, dinner and Sunday roast! Sunday roast was cooked served ‘blue’. Veg was over salted, gravy was like thick Bisto. Management apologised saying the chef was tired, having an off day. First visit certainly won’t be back.

Can’t fault anything about it food and service was tremendous only negative was they asked us to move booking by half hour then chased us out I felt

I've had great experiences at Chop-House in the past but it this time it was a little bit of a let-down (sorry!) It was evident on the day we were there that staff were quite stressed due to the volume of people they were servicing which did mean that our table had minimal service. Perhaps just an off night!

Decent food, steak had a lovely flavour though a bit tough in parts. Great Mac and cheese, lovely cocktails. And nice feel to the place.

We were celebrating my mam’s birthday and it was the perfect place . Friendly team, amazing, delicious food. Everything was just perfect. Definitely would recommend going here. Can’t wait to visit this place again.
