   Would not recommend. Our server was very friendly but not attentive. We ordered the community bread as an appetizer - checked with the server where it was and were told it’s coming. Arrived with our entrees. The food was lukewarm at best and one member of our party had a well done steak but had requested medium well. The server did not come check to see how our food was after the first few bites so there’s wasn’t an opportunity to try and have the problem corrected. Another member of our party had their steak cooked as requested but it was dry. At that price point this was not expected. My steak was slightly undercooked but enjoyable except for the temperature. Luke warm to cool was the overall temperature of my meal. I ordered steak, loaded mashed potatoes, crab Oscar, sautéed mushrooms and steamed broccolini. My meal was approximatly $80 and I have no problem spending that much or more on a meal if the food is good. Forgot to mention I also ordered the pineapple upside down cake for dessert. The cake was dry and lacked pineapple. Extremely disappointed and even though we’ll stay at Sutton Place again we’ll never spend another dime at Chop. Overall, our party agreed on 2 out of 5 stars and that was being generous. Save your money and go elsewhere where your food and service will be worth the price point.

   We loved our experience at Chop! They made us feel very welcomed, and helped us celebrate my sisters birthday. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. The manager also stopped in to personally welcome us as it was our first time (and a birthday) which was just so sweet. Our food was amazing and we really enjoyed everything. We will absolutely be back!

   We had a wonderful experience at Chop. We were celebrating my partners birthday and they gave him a birthday card with a complimentary appetizer. Our server Jonah was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

   I got proposed to at this restaurant, the staff, and the food was amazing. The overall experience was hands down amazing and I can't wait to return to celebrate more.

   Wonderful service and warm art deco decor. Did not feel like "just a hotel restaurant." I especially enjoyed the images hidden in the marble veining behind reception. We went on a busy night (the day after Valentine's Day), and the service was excellent. I had a pink lemonade made with raspberry liqueur, raspberry sorbet, and house made lemonade - delicious! I've seen other reviews saying the fries were too salty, but I enjoy them that way. If you don't, make sure to ask for lightly salted fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the creme brulee was just right to finish off the meal. Unexpectedly, the ceasar salad was the stand-out course!

   The ambiance is great, very neat and beautiful place, the waiter Manolis did a great job. Food: string beans that goes with steak was raw, not cooked at all, steak was very tasty. Drinks: good, tasty, we tried the restaurant's specialty cocktail, I will not buy it again, it was not tasty. Desserts: the desserts themselves were very tasty, but the PLATE in which I was served the dessert was dirty, greasy, all in fingerprints, poorly washed, it spoiled the whole impression of the restaurant!!!

   Our server was excellent and the food was plenty flavourful. This was our 3rd Valentine’s day spent at CHOP, and we will definitley be back again next year!

   An amazing Valentines Day Dinner ! Our server was phenomenal and adding the extra touch of having a Polaroid picture taken was very special. We’ve always had a great time at Chop !

    A phenomenal experience from start to finish. The table staff were polite and provided excellent recommendations. The ambiance was romantic and soothing, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure it was a romantic night for Valentine’s Day (having someone go around to take Polaroid photos of the guests was a great souvenir to have!). The food was also out of this world, steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster was fresh as you can imagine l!
