   Based on my previous experiences the meat was cooked well. Some items were not on the menu anymore that I use to enjoy. The service was a bit slow but it was fairly busy, so understandable. Overall it was a nice experience. I think for a steakhouse it's nice to have more steak options like some other competition steakhouses in ottawa. I feel like more cuts is ideal. I would have loved a porterhouse. Or maybe a t-bone. But it was a nice meal either way. I'd recommend as a typical chain restraunt similar to the keg.

   Food and service were EXCELLENT. Atmosphere was fantastic with moderate lighting and spacious seating. Decor and layout lent to moderate ambient background noise making it easy to hold conversation, even with a full house. Staff were VERY helpful and courteous. On this occasion we had the Filet mignon and Prime rib - both of which were cooked to perfection.

   Another nice time at Chop Steakhouse. The smoked rib steak is super tastey with just the right amount of smoke flavour. The vegetables were done nicely and there was a good variety of them on our plates. My husband had the burger which he said was also very good. Our only let down is they don’t have an espresso machine and don’t know how to make a proper Monte Cristo specialty coffee. But that is minor compared to the meals we did enjoy.

   My friends and I had a wonderful time at Chop we usually go there every Christmas and it just happened that last night was my son's birthday as well so got a lovely piece of cheesecake and a sparkle candle so it was just lovely. The service was perfect and the server was gracious and polite and sweet there's no complaints from any of us given that the place was so busy and everyone working there was running around trying to serve people...busiest day of the year or month apparently.

   As always, you guys never disappoint. Food was amazing, service was still top notch while it was so busy in there! I can’t remember our servers name but he was excellent.

   The pistachio crusted cod was poorly presented. It was a blob on top of my cod instead of fluffy like last time I had it. Sauce lacked flavor. I was disappointed.

   Girlfriends and I went for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday and we had an amazing time! The atmosphere was great, a staff member brought over a complimentary appetizer, we had delicious meals, service was excellent and they even brought out a birthday card and dessert for the birthday gal. Was our first time and we will definitely be back!
