   First time here but we’ll definitely be back! The food was outstanding, packed with flavor and well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive without any hassle or hurry, just right. The restaurant was pretty full but not so loud that you had to raise your voice to talk. It was very reasonably priced too.

   I was really looking forward to my second visit to this restaurant. I was wow’d by the food but extremely disappointed by the service. We had 5:30 reservations ( had to leave a credit card to hold them) and when we arrived they weren’t ready for us and we had to wait near the bar for 10 minutes while servers bumped into me like I was in the way. We finally are seated by the hostess and we then waited for 15 minutes before our server acknowledged us. The hostess also came back to tell me that there was a 90 minute limit on our table which I thought was funny because it took 15 minutes for our server to acknowledge our presence despite us sitting next to a table she was already serving. The server finally comes over to our table, takes our order of apps and entrees. We got 1 out of 3 apps and then we got out our entrees. I asked her why were getting entrees before appetizers and she brushed me off saying that they take different times. After that, she stopped checking on our table and no one checked on us, refilled our drinks or asked if we wanted anything else. We had to track down our server just to ask for to go boxes and check. We got them pretty quickly, and left. The food was delicious and consistent but some of the portions on the apps are small. I’m speaking particularly of the scotch egg that is 12-13 dollars and consists of 1 egg cut in half. I was so displeased I don’t think I’ll be back to the Montrose location.

   tried a lot of their dishes. everything was amazing, cant go wrong with anything on their menu. best of all, despite over-ordering, the bill didn’t break the bank! will definitely be back! HIGHLY recommend the suya skewers and golden bowl.

   Excellent food! Logistically it was weird walking from entrance to be greeted at the counter across the room. Recommend greeters by the door. Food presentation was great! Staff attire didn’t match the high-end food presentation. Restaurant has a lot of potential. We will be back. Decor and art is brilliant!

   The food was exceptional!!! The service could have been a bit more professional, although everyone was very kind and helpful. It just appeared that not everyone had much experience in table serving.

   It is such a pleasure to take friends to ChopnBlok that have never been there. Everyone says “ I am coming back with….. Wonderful staff can guide you through the menu. Strongly suggest you have three or four shareables. Then decide if you want more. The seasoning is wonderful and unique Enjoy
