   We arrived early to our reservation but was seated immediately by two sweet & welcoming hosts. We used open table for our reservations & in the special notes/ requests, we put we were celebrating two birthdays & that we wanted a great table with a view & great for easy conversation. We got a table by the windows, perfect. Our drinks were tasty & instead of complimentary bread, we received what looked like homemade pita chips & hummus. Very yummy. 3 out 4 of us ordered the Butcher’s filet. I was able to exchange my potatoes for sprouts & they were addicting. The other two had the potatoes & cleaned their plate! The other person in our group was a trained chef in another country & ordered the miso short ribs & also cleaned her plate & was blown away by the whole plate. She told out waiter compliments to the chef! We then ordered the flourless chocolate dessert & the carrot cake dessert. The salt pop on the chocolate dessert was a culinary experience. It tastes like a snickers bar. The carrot cake was tasty but I wish had one more texture to it. I really have zero critics on the food, but if I had to make one, that would be it. The only experience ding I would make is, if a group or a couple writes down or lets the host know of a special occasion is being celebrated, that they follow through with something a little special. For us, we did drop a lot of money for a double birthday celebration & it just would have been nice to have Happy Birthday written on the plates or a small special treat reserved for birthdays/ anniversaries/ milestones. My some recognition in a small gesture goes along way.

   A great evening with friends visiting Charlotte. Service amazing. Good was fantastic. It was the perfect evening.

   We were there early at 5:00 and server got us out in time for 6:30 event. Moroccan meatballs, swordfish and salmon were winners!

   Our service was outstanding! Our server I think his name was “Salvador” was so friendly and appreciative. Overall such a cute place to have brunch at.
