   This is a gem in a strip mall. Would never expect such outstanding Italian food from the exterior. Family business for years with authentic delicious pastas, salads and desserts. Waiter suggested a reasonable Amarone when the Nebbiolo we selected wasn't available. Great trade off!

   Just a wonderful Italian restaurant! Great atmosphere and food. Our servers were a bit busy because the restaurant was very crowded but all in all an amazing place.

   We love that there is a family owned restaurant in the Westwood/international blvd area. In a strip mall on Westwood. Not a chain! And what great food and service! Prices very reasonable. I had the lobster bisque, hands down the best I’ve ever had. And a pear and goat cheese pecan salad, delicious and generous. My partners pasta e pesce was very good, actually must have been excellent as he usually shares with me and all I got was a little bite. The servers were attentive and charming. Owner / cook? From southern Italy. Atmosphere nice, nothing fancy but charming. White table cloth, GOOD wine glasses not the thin ones at chains. Wine choices nice. Definitely we will always come back here when we visit.

   WOW! This might be our new favorite place. We were a little unsure as it is in a strip mall; however, as soon as we walked in we knew we made a great choice. It smelled great and the wait staff was so welcoming. The food was outstanding. The bread arrived warm with olive oil, balsamic and fresh thyme dipping sauce. It actually was the best red bread I have had in a VERY long time and I eat out often. We had a Caesar salad which had homemade dressing, the veal piccata and fettuccine Alfredo. We also ordered a bottle of wine which the waiter picked out after we described what we prefer. It was exactly what we described. The perfectly sautéed garlic spinach along with the melt in your mouth veal so OUTSTANDING! The piccata sauce had the perfect amount of acidity and was velvety smooth. It is the kind of sauce I wish I could replicate. The Alfredo was also impeccable. Sometimes we find it is too heavy. This was just right. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. It was beautiful and a tad too rich for our taste. We will most assuredly be back. The food & service were excellent. For all the food we ate, we felt we got great value. Go!!! It is worth the drive.

   My plate was good but my wife couldn’t eat her food, too spicy, clearly a mistake during the cooking because this dish not supposed to be spicy, and she can handle spicy food much more than me. But they acted fairly and not charged for the plate.

   Excellent menu. Numerous dishes fit for any type of food desired. Dishes are well prepared. Staff is very attentive and eager to please. All in all , a great value.
