Ciao Italian Restaurant is a family owned restaurant. We refuse to cut corners on our food. We search the market daily to find the freshest available local ingredients. All of our chicken stock, veal stock, and sauces are made fresh daily. Our food is all made from scratch and we cook to order, and its easy to accommodate any food allergies our special diets. Our Mama's meatballs, lasagna, marinara sauce, and our house made mozzarella are recipes that are passed down through the generations. We try to maintain a very friendly, cozy and happy feel to our restaurant. we ant you to feel like you are having a meal at one of your family's house. While we want to remain family friendly we also provide you with a restaurant that also has a romantic feel. Much of the same as the Tratorias of Italy. While we maintain a high level of service we like to keep it relaxed so that you can feel comfortable.

    Every year we are in town for a conference and every year Caio is t the preferred destination for dinner. Great food and service and very nice people. Authentic Italian Diners you can always count on Thank you u Caio!

    The weather was very cold outside and the restaurant was a little too cool inside for my wife’s comfort. It did however get warmer as the dinner progressed. However the food and waitstaff are exceptional so a great evening was truly enjoyed by all. Ciao is still our family favorite for wonderful Italian cuisine and wine.

    The service was very good, the food was tasty except we weren’t fans of the bread dipping oil….a pet peave of ours is butter served in little plastic containers. The atmosphere wasn’t all that great…the music could be turned up just a little to create a nicer, warm environment. The room temperature was rather cold. There appeared to be local regulars so I’m sure there’s a reason for that. It was okay, but a one and done for us.

    Food was excellent. Really enjoyed the mussel appetizer. Entrees were spectacular and our server Jurgan was very attentive. Looking forward to the next time we visit Ciao.

    We went to Ciao for the first time since moving to Myrtle Beach back in 2017. I do not know how we missed this gem but now that we have found it we will always come back here for Italian cuisine. We were celebrating our son in laws birthday so a party of four. We were seated immediately and our awesome server Shaun came right over. The food was amazing and Shaun never missed a beat. Pricing was more than reasonable for the quality. We have been to a number of other Italian restaurants in MB but Ciao's has jumped to the top of the list. Highly recommend.
