   Absolutely outstanding. We had a large group (13) in town for a conference....and they cared for our group like it was completely routine. The food was outstanding, and was on par with or exceeded the quality of any meal I had in Italy last year. The ambience is amazing as well, and should not be understated. Felt like a small town cafe in northern Italy. Can't say enough about this place!

   What a treat! My family has been here before… And our expectations were BIG based on their past experiences. The food was exceptional, the service was wonderful, and the overall experience is something that we will definitely revisit again and again!! we had a table of eight people. One of us gluten-free and have lots of options for that. I know how you recommend !!!!

   Excellent food very authentic. Chef/Owner Mario great gentleman and insightful with all the recommendations. In my opinion one of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego.

   Yeah, there’s no way you can mess up a lasagna, but the lasagna was disgusting.

   Staff were very friendly and checked up on us. One of the closest feel for Italian cuisine in town. The tasty dishes were not heavy and the dessert was not overly sweet. The 4% city fee was unfortunate but otherwise overall a good experience.

   The owner and staff are very personable and attentive. The food was exceptional with the portions. Everything is made from scratch, yum. I will recommend and go back.

   This restaurant is such a great find!!! The owner is out greeting everyone making you feel so welcome, the ambience - so perfect for connecting with family and friends. The food OUTSTANDING!! It was such a hidden gem! I will be back!!

    The food is fresh and delicious, and the service was impeccable. The owner is very friendly and creates an environment which feels very much like a small family restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant.
