Cinnamon Bazaar is inspired by bazaars in antiquity and in the modern day. In India and across the world, the bazaar is the place to buy, sell, exchange, entertain and be entertained. For centuries the vibrant energy of these marketplaces has inspired us to explore new flavours and new possibilities and Cinnamon Bazaar aims to capture this and bring it to London.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant and it perfect for your meetings over lunch or an evening soiree. We don't charge a minimum spend or room hire free from January to end of November. Simply choose any of our private dining menus and your choice of drinks and leave the rest to us! If you’re looking for a relaxed dinner, this is not the place to go. The service was rushed, to the point of feeling harassed. While we were still eating (but perhaps taking a pause), twice we were asked if we had finished and whether the plates could be collected, even though the sharing plates were still half full. As soon as we said that we had finished, the plates were collected and menus were placed for dessert. When we said that we did not want a dessert, the menus were immediately replaced by the bill (even though we had not requested it) and the waiter was standing ready with card machine for payment. When I commented that we were being rushed, he just smiled and said that it’s busy. We were in and out in 1 hour for a 2 course meal. While the food is decent, it’s a noisy place and the rushed service makes it feel like a fast-food chain (unless that is the intention and I completely misunderstood.

The afternoon tea was initially served without tea! Had to keep chasing the server. Disappointingly the chai was a packet mix rather than traditional hand made Indian tea!! Also, The content of the afternoon tea could have been better, especially the deserts which should have been traditional India deserts!!

The food was very tasty, but the portions were very small. The restaurant was very hot and the tables were very very cramped! The wait staff took a very long time to give us menus and we had to flag them down and chase this up.

Lunch for three ! Great choice menu ! Selection of starters which were very tasty Two of had Shepherd”s Pie which was very good and my Chicken Biryani was excellent ! All the dishes were perfectly prepared and all the individual spices and seasoning could be appreciated ! All in all with a couple of bottles of reasonably priced wine a very good value for money lunch ! Best curry I’ve had for along time !!

Incredible service, staff and food!! I have not been in London for dinner for sometime, but I was delighted to see that upon returning to Cinnamon Bazaar they have a new fresh menu, and the same amazing staff and brilliant service. If you want a wonderful Indian meal, then you should try here!! I will be back!! Thank you for looking after my table so well :)
