   This was our second visit - the food is fantastic, and service is excellent. The only drawback is the noise level which can prohibit conversation at times for those of us who have a hard time hearing. If that is the case try to avoid the main dinning area and sit up front by the bar where it was slightly easier to hear. Otherwise - try the octopus, cauliflower and the ribeye. Absolutely the best in town.

   We made a reservation on OpenTable for an upscale weekday casual dinner. The restaurant was full upon check in and we opted for bar seats and cocktails until the table was ready. We were moved from the bar top to the bar lounge area for dining. We did not get food menus or a server until we asked. Oops. The 3 of us ordered 2 pastas, fritto misto, crispy rice crudo, veal parm, 3 sides and a bottle of wine. The appetizers set the bar very high. Now for the $88 veal parmesan. It was interesting. Bone in thick section and very thin everywhere else. It was almost too crunchy (think crackers) as it was pan fried but with two different thicknesses. I'm guessing the thin part was overdone by the time the thick bone part was done. The sauce, tomato, cheese topping was no match for the now very firm breading. If you held a piece of veal on the edge with thumb and index fingers it would self support horizontally like a ritz. Biting down on it would echo inside your jaw. Shame. Wine pairing and wine glasses were wow. Look up glasvin stemware. Bartender did a good job and made a memorable impression. Everything else was fine, nothing to write home about. All in all I'd go back to try the rest of the menu eventually. I'm not dying to go back but I won't suggest another restaurant if someone picks Cino.

   Fabulous experience. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. JR didn’t miss a step. He explained the restaurant concept, the key players in the restaurant, and description of the menu items were spot on. Well done Cino. A whole new feel and taste to Honolulu. Bravo

   Great food and service. High ceilings so it's very noisy. You don't go here to visit/talk.

   Highly recommended. Will be returning. Food excellent. Drinks amazing. Only issue is I had a clear reservation at 1830 for a table for my friend's birthday. (As seen on my open table app) but they claimed my reservation was for 2130. Huge difference. We sat at the bar not a huge issue just odd. Great restaurant!

   We really enjoyed our meal and our waiter Dillon. Unfortunately there was a party of four ladies that were very, very noisy which somewhat disrupted our evening. When we first got there, it was very quiet and pleasant. I will return as the food quality was exceptional.
