   We had the raw oysters and oysters Rockefeller, both were delicious and as described by the waitress. I had the scallops entree over risotto. It was impeccable and something I will come back for. Everything was top notch.

   We dined here prior to a concert and were two couples We sat in the back room which was by a window which was really nice! Our waitress Faith was very friendly and helpful. My sister and I both had scallops and they were just the best I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this restaurant

   My husband and I are visiting from out of town and wanted to take advantage of a date night. I saw really great reviews and decided to give City Grille a try. We were not disappointed. Our server, Kevin, was knowledgeable and very attentive. He offered recommendations based on what my husband and I like. I had the Oysters Rockefeller, Sea Scallops, and Espresso Bread Pudding. My husband had a Caesar salad, Beef Tenderloin with black garlic butter, whipped potatoes, and the creme brulee. Everything was absolutely delicious! The drinks were great and reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend City Grille and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

   The wait staff was great from the moment we drove up to when we got back into our car after a great meal we will definitely plan to return to this upscale restaurant.

   Fav restaurant in Jax, everything is so fresh and good! Have yet to have a bad experience here. Service is always good too.

    The food was great and our server was fantastic! The only negative was with how we were seated. We arrived 10 minutes early for a reservation and were told that the table was not ready and that we could sit at the bar or in the velvet room. This is fine, as long as the host informs us as soon as the table is ready and we are able to transfer any drinks ordered to our final check. The host did not inform us when the table was ready and the restaurant required the drinks ordered in the velvet room to be paid separately from our final check. Not a big deal but this disrupts the experience a bit when one has to wait for a table but would like to scan the menu and order a drink to start.
