   First time at this restaurant and had read the wonderful reviews. Food and service live up to the hype and the ambience is somewhere between "cool" vibes and candlelit relaxation. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful and she did not rush us when we asked for a few extra minutes to make our decisions. The cocktail menu is overwhelming with it's great choices. Our appetizers, which included deviled eggs and pork belly, were superb. I normally don't care for gnocchi, but ordered it because of the fresh asparagus, peas and leeks. The gnocchi were little pillows of lightness and the lemon cream sauce was subtle and delicious! All in all, I will definitely go back to try more of their heavenly food! I know, I am gushing, but it's hard to find a restaurant in this area with food that sophisticated.

   It’s beautiful inside and the food is delicious. We had a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch. Definitely a go to spot for special occasions.

   Food and experience were great. We were seated in the back of the restaurant which is great for large parties & if you wanted a quieter setting. Having been there a few times ourselves, we prefer the front of the restaurant which is livelier.

   We visited this restaurant for the first time and our jaws dropped when we saw the decor, the comfort and the all-around ambience, including the welcoming provided by the staff. The food was unusual and superb. The server took plenty of time to explain each dish that we questioned. We sat on a very lovely comfortable sofa with a well fitting table. We had planned to sit outside with our puppy, but it was raining so we left her home. Try it you’ll like it.

    This was my second visit to Claywood for a Saturday night dinner with my husband. Our first visit, we chose from the winter menu (excellent), and this time, they offered the spring menu. Once again, the chef has done an excellent job on the small and large plate options. I will be trying more of the small plates on my next visit so I’m able to experience more of those options. From the staff, food, efficiently run open kitchen, this restaurant is definitely doing things right.
