This is a great restaurant. I love the atmosphere. The wait staff is fantastic. I will say the Tower Oaks location is a cut of above Chevy Chase when it comes to the quality of the food offered. I ordered the crabcake sandwich today and was somewhat disappointed and the Faroe Island, salmon salad is so much better at Tower Oaks. The food today just didn’t meet Clyde’s usual standards. One of our party did say the burger was good.

Everyone enjoyed their meal ! from the Reuben sandwich to the crabcake and then the eggs Benedict. They were all delicious thank you Clyde’s!

Anthony was the best. He made the event easy. He was on top of every request. The food was good (excellent fish n chips) , two iffy oysters, dry Rueben, great black n tan.

It took 3 tries to get my order served correctly. The first time the entirely wrong entree came. In hindsight I should have just eaten it. Then my entree came but had obviously been sitting out for a long time. It was stone cold. When my entree finally came, everyone else was eating. I understand errors happen but they didn’t even comp me for the meal. And this is not the first time there have been service errors at Clyde’s. It happens often. I won’t be eating there again.

*Food was very good! *We had to sit in the back and our view was a table of 10 that had not been cleared and remained dirty the entire time. *our table area was greasy and dusty (but we were next to the open kitchen) * our server made an error and our appetizer/salad/entrees all arrived at the same time. Been there done that …I think I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.
