   Server and every aspect of service was excellent. We ordered the 46 ounce tomahawk and it was average. Nothing spectacular. It lacked flavor and was a little tough. The side sides were phenomenal. We ordered brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes.

   Very impressed with the food, enjoyed multiple appetizers and sides, and and amazing ribeye cooked exactly to order and with the perfect amount of (minimal) seasoning. Staff was attentive without being too much. Atmosphere was perfect for a quiet evening. Overall very satisfied and would recommend/go again!

   When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by a woman, she was very friendly and polite Later we found out it was the General Manager. The restaurant is pretty, clean, and has a nice vibe, We enjoyed our food. but disappointed they were out of the Tomahawk. Michael our server was really good and knowledgeable.    We booked well in advance and it was Jazz night which I was celebrating my husbands birthday so when I made reservations there was a $20 fee per person since they had jazz which I was totally fine with and paid upfront. Because we were so excited to find a restaurant that actually had live jazz music upon arrival person at the front door proceeded to tell us that we need to pay the $20 per person. I let them know that we had already prepaid and they had literally just called us right before we came into the door so that started off everything by not having such a great experience. They were finally able to confirm that we indeed already did pay and then sat us. The space is beautiful. The ambience and the music was fabulous who proceeded to order our appetizers, which was she crab soup delicious wedge salad, delicious, and crabcakes, which were definitely not fresh. We then ordered entrées and I ordered my steak medium. My husband got the special, which was the fish on top of a cream sauce with mushrooms, which he enjoyed and then I got a side of mashed potatoes, and of course, my steak that I specified to be medium upon receiving mistake it was burnt on the outside and when I went to cut into it, it was well well done as we sat there waiting. I believe it was the manager she came up ask was everything OK? I said we were missing the mashed potatoes, but I did not mention anything about the steak because I am not wanting to send food back because I’ve heard horror stories of doing that so I just ended up cutting the steak up and ate the pieces that I could… so honestly, the only issue I had was my steak being very overcooked, especially for the price and not receiving my side, but everything else was wonderful. I would definitely go back, but I would certainly say to them to make my steak medium rare so I actually come out medium instead of burnt and well done.

   Excellent experience, with a gracious owner/host and delightful server (James). Appetizers and entrees were well-prepared, served hot, timely and delicious. When back in CLT, we will be seeing them again.

   Our recent dining experience at C&W Steakhouse was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to Elle, our outstanding waitress. From the moment we stepped through the doors, Elle made us feel as though we were guests in her own home. Her warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put us at ease, setting the tone for a delightful evening. Elle's knowledge and enthusiasm for the menu were impressive—she guided us through the diverse offerings with ease, making thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Her genuine passion for the culinary art was evident in every interaction. What truly stood out was Elle's commitment to making my wife's birthday celebration unforgettable. She went above and beyond to add special touches to our dining experience, from suggesting a perfect dish to complement the celebration to surprising us with a beautifully arranged dessert accompanied by a cheerful rendition of "Happy Birthday." It was evident that Elle genuinely cared about making the occasion extraordinary. Her attentiveness throughout the evening ensured that our glasses were never empty and that every need was swiftly attended to, all while maintaining an effortless charm and friendly conversation. Elle's exceptional service elevated our dining experience to new heights, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. C&W Steakhouse is indeed fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented team member. We can't wait to return for another memorable meal and hope to be lucky enough to have Elle as our server once again.

   A wonderful experience 2 evenings in a row while visiting Charlotte for business. Kim (the manager) and her team work very hard and the service level shows. I do not write reviews in general, though the service, food, and wine selection were outstanding! I highly recommend C&W Steakhouse.

As always, James went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. His friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality truly set the standard for great service. It’s clear he takes pride in making every guest feel welcome and valued. The bar drinks were expertly crafted—balanced, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the night ( Thanks Dashon). And the food? Absolutely incredible! Every bite was packed with rich, savory and cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Whether you're indulging in a steak or exploring other menu options, you’re in for a treat. C&W Steakhouse continues to deliver excellence, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
