Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    Salmon is a great choice. Not overcooked and just a little bit of glaze on it. Steamed broccoli is a good side dish. Although a scoop of whole grain rice would additionally complement the dish . Excellent service.

    Very happy I chose Coastal Kitchen to bring my son and his family for our Christmas celebration. They had never been here and raved about the food! Entrees ordered were the ahi salad, the ahi entree, pork chop (it was huge!), ribs, and my personal favorite, the salmon. All were delicious! And, of course, we had to order the key lime pie--better than Tommy Bahamas; the crust is amazing!

    Of course it was busy because of holiday parties. It was really loud and I had to ask several times for a refill on my tea. When my husband asked for dessert the waitress never came by our table. My husband asked another waitress walking down the aisle for a cup of decaf coffee. She never came back with his coffee so when our waitress came by to drop off our check I asked her about my husbands coffee and she said oh I didn’t know you wanted anything else. We love coastal kitchen because we are locals and I know we will be back. I think it’s just overwhelming during the holidays.

    Nobody cooks a salmon filet, a thick cut pork chop, or a teriyaki ribeye better for 30 miles. Service was great and never intrusive to our group's conversation. We love going to this place.
