   Cochon is one of the top 2 or 3 dining destinations in the Williamsburg area, and deservedly so. The food is varied, even with the limited chef's choice prix fixe menu, and expertly.prepared.and presented..Excellent wine list with a range of fairly reasonable prices and a knowledgeable staff to provide commentary. Superb service that is attentive without hovering. It is not cheap but it is one of those places where you walk out thinking what a great meal rather than worrying about the cost.

   Service was top notch most of the night; slow toward the end. One entree (steak) was incorrect and cold upon arrival. Expected more with the $100pf menu.

   This was our second time at the restaurant. The first, about a year ago, was incredible; in every area I would give 5 stars. The second (yesterday) was mediocre. I think the difference is that yesterday was a Valentines limited menu at $100 a person; perhaps they do individual, crafted, large-menu plates much better than a limited standing money-making assembly line. Cooking instructions disregarded. Creme brulee with passionfruit sounded interesting; it was blended into the creme diluting the thickness and became runny.

   Overall we enjoyed our Valentine’s Day meal, excellent service. We paid for a special 3 course meal which was $$$, but we had to pay for the coffee we requested with dessert that was included with the meal.

   You won't regret eating here! If you want your taste buds to have an experience beyond anything you can imagine then this is the place to go! You won't be disappointed. This was our second time going and the experience and the food and the atmosphere was beyond great!

   For the money not good very little sauce on the steak potatoes were small and rolled around the plate not goi service was 5 star

   We went the day after Valentine's Day. When I made the reservation, I ask if we could order off the menu since we already had a Valentine's Dinner scheduled for the 14th. The person on the phone said that we could order off the menu. When we arrived, we were told only the $100/person dinner was available. Our server checked with management, and we were allowed to order off the Valentine's menu ala carte, plus one special entree they could prepare. Our steak came a little overdone after I asked it to be prepared on the rare side of medium-rare. Moody's Sticky Ribs were excellent, six meaty ribs billed as a shareable and a great value. The service was excellent as plates were cleared promptly and we were left to enjoy our wine and cocktail. I highly recommend the experience, the sticky ribs, and will try the Heritage Pork Chop next time. One wall has fencing from a pig pen, and the place is well decorated and has a nice ambience. I encourage you to look at the website (read the story) and menu before you decide to go; there is more seafood and beef dishes than pork, and they claim to be sustainable.

   We love coming to Cochon to celebrate important events. The wait staff are eager and full of great energy. The food is outstanding as always!! Great atmosphere in the restaurant, full of energy and laughter! First Class!!

    Great atmosphere, lovely darkened room with fireplace, quite background music. The food was disappointing - ribs appetizer was tough, soup served lukewarm and pork dish was served at room temperature and was dry and overcooked. Have been to this restaurant before and had been pleased with it. Not this time.
