   Food was ok - nothing special. Dessert was highlight. Seated in a near empty roof area when the best area was the main 1st floor. Remote and no vibe. Odder still, asked to follow waiter down spiral staircase to pay bill. Not only poor service but dangerous. I personally would not return for cost and value.

   Fantastic 😍 pairing of food and drinks, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be back and have no problem giving persons a recommendation to eat and drink there.

   We had a table in the Rooftop section which we loved. As long as you can walk up a lot of stairs to get there we would recommend it. The service from our waiter Ron was first class.

   I cannot speak highly enough of the Cocktail Kitchen. Unquestionably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Service was incredible (wish I could remember our waiter’s name) and food was just as amazing. I’ve been coming to Barbados for almost 30 years and will come back to the Cocktail Kitchen every year going forward.

    This evening, my friends and I dined at Cocktail Kitchen, led by Chef Damian Leach, a chef I’ve admired for many years. I chose this restaurant as the highlight of my 30th birthday celebration, eager to share a special experience with my loved ones during their 1st trip to Barbados. Unfortunately, the evening turned into the most disappointing dining experience I’ve ever in Barbados. Initially, we were warmly greeted by the host, who promptly acknowledged our reservation and escorted us to our table. However, this promising start quickly unraveled. After a lengthy delay, our server, Ron, finally approached the table. His demeanor was curt and dismissive, and when asked if our order would be sufficient, he replied, “I don’t know, bro, I don’t know how hungry you are,” a response that felt both unprofessional and condescending. Throughout the meal, his interactions lacked warmth and attentiveness. The experience worsened when we noticed apparent bias in Ron’s behavior. While hot plates were placed on the table for our White guests, Black members of our party were handed hot plates directly. This disparity in treatment was stark and unsettling. Observing how Ron interacted with other diners, it became clear our group was not receiving the same courtesy or respect. Though three of us enjoyed our cocktails, the food was underwhelming, lacking in both presentation and flavor. Given Chef Leach’s reputation, our expectations were not met. Additionally, no one checked on us during the meal to ask if the food or drinks were satisfactory, or if we needed anything else. The evening ended on an even lower note when Ron instructed us to meet him downstairs to pay the bill instead of bringing it to the table. His dismissive tone during this interaction only compounded our disappointment, leaving us feeling unwelcome. As someone who values supporting local establishments, this experience was upsetting and embarrassing, and ultimately marred my guests experience in Barbados
