Nestled in the heart of Little Italy and overlooking the Piazza della Famiglia, Coco Maya offers a contemporary twist on classic American dishes. Our diverse menu ranges from light coastal cuisine to robust, flavorful proteins cooked in a traditional Spanish-style coal-fired Josper oven. Additionally, we pay homage to our neighborhood's roots with several Italian-inspired entrees, featuring unique takes on flatbreads and pastas.

As part of the Grind & Prosper Hospitality Group, Coco Maya is an evolution of our original concept, Miss B’s Coconut Club in Mission Beach. Since our inception, we've continued to explore new flavors and culinary techniques while broadening our scope and enriching our cocktail program. Coco Maya boasts a diverse mezcal and tequila selection, alongside the delicious tropical and rum-based cocktails that have become synonymous with Miss B’s.

Open daily for brunch and dinner, with a weekday Happy Hour from 2-5 pm.

Love the Miami type ambience. Service was great, and food was delicious. I had the Chilaquiles which was very tasty!!

Always a vibe in there especially on the weekends! Cute and small rooftop, perfect for a girls brunch. Bartenders are always upbeat and provide great hospitality.

I think this restaurant has put a lot in having a cool vibe, but the food is the real star. I had plantains and beef and jerk chicken wings. The portions are huge, and I could eat that plantains dish all day.

Service was mediocre. One of our entrees came out very late and when we inquired about it, was given rude response. They charged a $25 “cake fee” as we brought our own bday cake, which is ridiculous. We weren’t even told about this fee until the last minute. We asked for the ice cream cake to be put in freezer and it wasn’t so when we received it, the ice cream had melted. Food was overall good and ambience was nice. Not sure if we’ll go back.

This was our first time trying Coco Maya. We decided to go for lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon in Little Italy and had made a reservation. The service was excellent and the food was very good. My disappointment was how loud it was with a DJ. The music was fine but we wanted something a little quieter for a Sunday afternoon.

We had a horrible experience here. The restaurant was nearly EMPTY and we were neither greeted or acknowledged during the 30 minutes we waited at our table. We weren’t offered drinks or visited by our waiter EVER. When I finally went to check at the bar if we’d be helped, they went to a table that arrived after us. The WORST service ever. The employees were more worried about cleaning tables and setting up empty tables than to take care of their customers. All 4 of us left and we likely will never be back.

Food was just good. The restaurant was clearly understaffed. Wait time to be asked our order and receive it was way too long as we watched the few staff pacing up and down, stressed. To add to that, the waiter was quite aggressive and dry. We probably won’t be back. We were really excited to try this spot on our wedding anniversary.
