   First time there, but seems to be highly overrated. Food was average at best.

   Made a reservation on Valentines Day weekend (not the day of) specifically looking for restaurants that don’t have set menus that weekend. The reservation system allowed us to choose a reservation with or without a set menu, so I chose the one without. Upon arrival we were told there was only a set menu with things we probably wouldn’t have ordered ourselves.

   Un peu désorganisé au début, mais bon service et bon repas, mais un peu dispendueux. / A bit disorganized at the beginning. Good service and good food, but a bit expensive.

   This is our second visit. Greeting was great. Ambiance is somewhat sterile...more like a cafeteria..lacks privacy. Table service was professional and friendly. The 4 course meal was sub standard. The duck was well prepared but the green beans raw and undercooked. The Moraccan style salmon was overcooked and dry. The green beans also raw and uncooked. The Moroccan rice was overcooked and dry. The soup was Lukewarm. Water and beverages were good. Dessert...fruit tarts were very good. Coffee was good. The meal was overpriced and sub standard. We did not complain on site due to the fact we live out of town and delays would have made travel more risky.

   My fiancée and I had an underwhelming experience here on Valentine’s Day. We showed up to our reservation and the host sat us at a table set up in the lobby of the hotel, saying that the only one available in the dining room was very tight. Fine. However I asked to move because whenever the lobby doors opened there would be a rush of cold air. We were moved to the back area of the dining room where there must have been half a dozen tables open. Now, maybe they were for reservations - but then what were we?? We were seated this time at a wobbly table pushed up against a piller. The kind where you feel like you’re in the middle of a walkway. (We were told by our waiter it was a makeshift table they had set up just for that night). This despite there being three objectively nicer tables free around us, one of which stayed empty until just before we left 2 hours later. I don’t claim to know the complexities of assigning seating at a busy restaurant, especially on Valentine’s Day. But the optics of being seated at two undesirable tables when others seemed available did not make us feel particularly valued as customers. Not at $100 a plate. The food was good though.

   Inattentive workers. Food was lacking flavor and just gross, absolutely not worth the money. The best part was the bread and butter (that we had to ask for after they left us at the table and didn’t attend to us for 20 minutes as they got everyone else around us). Overall I would not recommend. You can go somewhere else and spend less money for a solid delicious meal and great service. There was an awkward racist vibe in there that made the whole experience uncomfortable.

   Our server was so kind, however the food was bland. We ordered the hamburger and sandwich of the day, and neither were great. The burger tasted a bit burnt and the "teriyaki chicken" didn't have a teriyaki flavour... I really didn't feel like either was worth the money we spent. The cocktails were delicious!

    The food was great, I love the selections available on the menu! I also really appreciated the design and decor of the restaurant. Unfortunately the service was extremely slow and inattentive.
