   The service and the ambiance was great. From my point of view, the french onion soup lacked depth with the broth and the cheese was less gruyere than Emmental. The St-Jacques was ok, the scallops were quite small and the flowered potatoes lacked taste and was a bit dry. The sauce was also less thick than usual for a St-Jacques. However, the service and the food was great and the staff was very welcoming. Being French, I may be a bit picky, but overall I liked my experience and I would highly recommend going to Cocotte.

   Wait staff were lovely. The food took a long time to arrive and was mediocre. Lively bistro yet noise did not overwhelm - we could hear each other!

   The dining area has a casual chic vibe and the restaurant staff were very attentive. We had the winter table d’hote which was a great deal for the price point. Both members of my party enjoyed the meal and the highlights were the carrot and ginger soup du jour and the cocktails. Will definitely return for future dining experiences.

   We had the table d'hôte and it was excellent, especially the bavette. It was quite busy for a Sunday night. Service was great.

   The table d’hote was reasonable and plentiful. Service was pleasant, average, and not particularly polished. The clatter and loudness spoiled the experience.

   We had a good night. This was a business dinner. It was unfortunate that the menu has changed from the one that is online. We had 2 vegan guests and 2 vegetarian and the pot au feu was what we were hoping to have. If you only have one vegan dish, it’s not ideal and it’s made with soy. Although it’s a good restaurant and I would recommend it generally, it is tricky when you have food restrictions The menu online is not the actual menu. We did also specify on our reservation request that there are vegans. I’m not sure there’s a way around it but tofu is never a universal choice.
