   Dinner was a long experience, HOWEVER Hallie was hands down the best server we have ever had! She took care of us at every turn, and provided more service than we could have ever expected. A++++++ ask for Hallie!

   We really like Cole’s. Have been several times in the past before we had three young children. We don’t get out a ton but we had a babysitter for a Christmas party that we left early and saw that Cole’s happened to have a table for two at 7:45. We booked it and arrived five to ten minutes early. The hostess(es) were excellent and told us our table would be available soon. We sat in the bar and waited (standing room only) and watched an empty table for thirty minutes while waiting for our reservation to become available. The staff was attentive, but it was an uncomfortable experience. They offered to comp us a drink because of the difficulty but neither of us drink alcohol. I really do think they were trying their best, but they may just have over scheduled reservations the night we were there. When we were finally seated thirty minutes after our reservation time, service was also weird with us probably having four different waitstaff come to our table. We weren’t rude, but it was probably obvious that we were hungry and disappointed as we now had only 45 minutes to be home before our babysitter was expecting us (we had allotted 75 minutes for the meal, which I think is pretty normal?) Anyway, the food was excellent. I will go back but I did want to leave some kind of feedback that maybe Cole’s is trying to book too many reservations and as a result, you should expect to potentially wait even if you have one. I understand that the empty table in the bar was probably also reserved (probably for someone who was late, which is probably also why the people at our table took so long to finish) but it wasn’t a fun situation. It’s hardly worth it to eat out any more. Kitchen was excellent as always though.

   Invited 2 other couples to join us tonight based on our last experience. The Beef shoulder tender ordered medium rare was tough and chewy. Wife’s Cobia was cold. Server (Kyle) was knowledgeable but made several basic server mistakes. He left an empty soup cup LONG after all other dishes were cleared. Let him know I was finished and asked him to clear. Spent 20 minutes staring at that dirty/empty (and only) dish on the table in front of me. He removed all the bread plates from the table BEFORE asking if we wanted bread. After serving the bread he did not replace the plates. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

   Absolutely wonderful, food is always wonderful, environment is always wonderful, and everyone working there is always wonderful. If you want a wonderful experience, Coles 735 Main is a wonderful choice for all occasions.

   This restaurant consistently hits all the right marks. Food and drink are wonderful, the ambience is warm and cozy and the service is unfailingly stellar. Our favorite restaurant.

   Not what we expected driving into the parking lot or necessarily walking in the front door, but boy oh boy did the food and service MORE than deliver! Fantastic food with every course and our server was wonderful and thoughtfully attentive. The specials were slightly overpriced, but again zero issues with the quality and presentation. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite of your anywhere nearby, you won’t regret it!

   This is the best restaurant we've been to in Lexington thus far, excelling in all areas (food, service, and atmosphere). We appreciated their attention to detail in the dishes and drinks, their communication and attentiveness in service, and the calm, cozy environment that was neither loud nor rushed.
