   This place, overall, is great. I ordered the steak and eggs, it arrived lukewarm and tasted like it had no seasoning. My eggs were cooked the way I ordered them but again, they were lukewarm The waitstaff is great, no complaints and its a little pricey but that's not out of the ordinary for Austin. We will come back for sure, ill just makes sure and specific that I want my breakfast to come hot.

   My partner's pork chop dish was generous and delicious and a good value. But my scallop dish was very ungenerous - 4 not very big scallops - which were plopped down on some good mashed potatoes with a bunch of halved cherry tomatoes and capers in a butter sauce. No bread was served. Neither inspired nor a good value. Our waiter was excellent and attentive. The dark beer he recommended was really good. My partner's second cup of punch was totally different from the first one. We'd like Colleen's to be more even in quality and value. We live in the neighborhood. We love BD Riley's and Marufuku nearby, but would like Colleen's to be another option for us. I hope they can fix things.

   Colleen’s never fails to completely satisfy either just myself or a group of people. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are delightful. I go here often and always leave super happy. Make sure to get the chocolate chip cookies before leaving!

   Really legit southern food and nice decor. It was my third time there, and this time I particularly appreciated how amazing the southern dishes are.

   Service and food was outstanding. Our table tried a little of everything from fried green tomatoes and corn and crab fritters to chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. All was delicious. The only thing I would change is the air temperature. We were close to the kitchen and were a little warm.

   Love this spot but they fell short this time. I recommend dinner not lunch so far! They served me a lunch version of a favorite dinner dish and the lunch fish was hard, overcooked, and thin. It was a very small cut, and not on rice like dinner. Even the crawfish were tiny and tough. This was nothing like the dinner portion with a large piece of thick, tender and juicy redfish and plump crawfish — delicious. The menu looked the same to me — I wouldn’t have ordered the variation. Banana pudding was very good and the happy hour chicken biscuit was tasty too. They did remove it from my check and were nice — but it was a huge disappointment. At first they claimed it was the dinner portion while there’s no chance of that. Then they apologized and informed the chef.

   Neighborhood gem. Lively inside and outside. Andy, the bartender, was super attentive, friendly and fun. The redfish made the experience even better!
