The food was great!! Chris our waiter was amazing. Overall a very nice experience. Deserts we requested were not available.

My husband & I planned for a nice evening out for our last night in PR. We chose Condal Tapas for dinner, but unfortunately, we were mislead by EVERYTHING. From the pictures we seen online, we expected a super clean atmosphere, great food and drinks, but it was the complete opposite. First off, the restroom wasn’t clean. The tables and chairs looked old and filthy. The food wasn’t good at all. The calamari was tough and wasn’t seasoned, the best way to describe is was old warmed up pancake batter. The Lobster and shrimp risotto didn’t have much flavor. The “risotto” was regular rice. The steak wasn’t seasoned well. The “truffled fries” were regular shoestring fries. After we had a drink, (they don’t have drink menus), my husband asked for a tea or lemonade, the waitress said they only have orange juice, he asked for soda and the only option given was coke and sprit. We were highly disappointed by this experience.

There is no ventilation at the rooftop. Ceiling fans were broken.

Service was slow, but servers were polite and friendly. Might have just been a long day for them and maybe under staffed.

The restaurant inside was quiet but too loud upstairs. Upstairs the chairs were cheap plastic patio chairs and the prices of the entrees were very expensive. The cheapest dinner was $31. We sat inside, which was better. We ended up staying because we had ubered there and we didnt know where else to go. The area was a little sketchy so we didnt want to chance going somewhere else. The bathrooms were dirty and in disrepair. The waiter was very helpful and the food was very flavorful, but I would not recommend for the price.

Pretty rooftop dining in the heart of candado but the food was eh. Very fishy tasting scallops and not much meat in the paella. Heavy hand on the salt. Not the tasty tapas we are used to.
