   It was my son’s 21st birthday and he wanted to go here for the first time. We didn’t know where it was, so we followed the gps. We had no idea they were having Dancing in the streets at this time. It made parking horrible. Coop’s parking lot was closed off, but we made it there. The front desk staff was very nice. I wanted more choices on the menu. We got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer. They were delicious! Piping hot with cheese sauce and pulled pork on them! 10/10. I ordered bacon wrapped scallops as my entree because I love scallops and it was the only thing on the menu that piqued my interest. It was $37 and I got 3 scallops and some flavorless rice. The scallops were delicious, just not enough-in my opinion. I know that scallops are expensive. My son got the salmon. He switched the asparagus for Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was also flavorless. He said it was the worse he’s ever had. He enjoyed the salmon and potatoes that came with it. I wanted a moscato but they didn’t have it so the waitress recommended a white sangria. I got that and liked it a lot. There was no dessert menu but the waitress told us what items they had. I chose the seasonal peach cobbler. It was $14! I don’t remember seeing the price on their ‘special’ menu. I haven’t tasted it yet, but the portion is not a $14 portion. We sat upstairs on the side facing the parking lot. So we were able to people watch. With the event going on outside, it was cool to watch since we weren’t familiar with the area. I thought they would have done a birthday celebration for my son since I told them it was his birthday, but they didn’t. No big deal. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable. We gave the experience a 7/10 and said we would go back again. Hopefully when there are no events outside. Lol

   The Coop is my go to restaurant when I’m in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The space, decor, service and food are always consistently great. My favorite are the Lamb Chops Lollipops. They’re 5 - 6 lovely lamb chops usually cooked to perfection. This time the chef was caught with too many orders and not enough defrosted chops. I had to wait longer than normal for my dinner but was comped a glass of wine and I wasn’t in a rush. Unfortunately the chimichurri sauce, while tasty, was overpowering and too spicy which took away from the flavor of the meat. The server was lovely and made sure I, a single traveler, was comfortable and well taken care of. See you next time Coop 303.

   We had the best dinner for Mothers Day! It was our first time there and it was seriously 10/10. Our server was so nice and personable (plus very fast and accurately brought out food) and the food was outstanding. Also, having complementary valet in a very hard spot to find parking was a game changer. Not to mention the valet was extremely kind. Overall amazing and can’t wait to come back!

   Drinks were awesome. Jason was a very kind and attentive server. Host (male with glasses and beard) super accommodating. Very good experience.

   It was a lovely day so we sat upstairs on the upper deck. It was so nice! Siera was our server and she was exceptional, especially considering it was Easter Sunday. I had the wedge salad and my adult grandson had a brunch item, French toast sandwich with ham, fried egg, and maple cream. Both items were delicious. We will definitely be back!

   We always enjoy the food which is perfectly cooked and good portion. Delicious and consistently good. Service wasn’t terrible but also wasn’t the best on Easter, but I am sure they were short staffed on the holiday.

   Three adults in our group ordered bacon-wrapped scallops for dinner. The bacon was lightly cooked, but the real problem was only 3 scallops on a tiny bed of rice. The flavors were developed but we all were shocked at the tiny serving size. At ~$40 per plate this was utterly outrageous. We all left hungry after cleaning our plates. Never had a main entree at any restaurant across the price spectrum and left hungry. One of us ordered the whole fish on the menu first but the waiter came back in a few minutes saying they were out. The hostess was training others when we arrived and gave the impression we were a nuisance. Repeat customers but never going back.

   There was a party upstairs so no one could go up there. Downstairs got crowded quick with a loud birthday party. Sat at the bar and had to glad the guy down for a drink each time.
