Let me start with that good, the food was very good and the actual service once seated was good. The bad and I put this on management, we had reservations for 6:45, yes it was on Thanksgiving, we arrived at 6:35 and when were we seated? Around 7:35. We had to wait a hour from when we arrived, 45 minutes past our reservation time. In a crowded area with basically one bench. So we had to stand with 2 kids for a hour in a crowded area and it was hot with that many people waiting. I felt bad for the hostess constantly telling people they were behind. It was obviously going to be a busy time, so they shouldn’t gave taken so many reservations that would back them up. It wasn’t people lingering too as it took a while for our food to come (appetizers was fast) so the kitchen obviously got backed up. Management should learn from this and cut down on number of reservations on busy holidays like yesterdayIs this helpful?

My daughter and I been here before for their Thanksgiving dinner. This was our third or fourth time and we’ve loved it in the past. This time the wait was extra long to be seated. Once seated it took forever to get our entrees. The food was sub par and the service was very slow. However, I cannot blame our waitress. She did a good job checking on us and knew there was a problem. Before our food came out, she offered us a comp dinner and glass of wine on our next visit. If we decide to go back next Thanksgiving, we will be sure to make a much earlier reservation to beat the backup in the kitchen. A 6:15 PM reservation was not a good idea. We were in the restaurant for 3 hours and left disappointed. Could not even eat the food after such a long wait.Is this helpful?

I like Cooper’s Hawk. We decided to go there on Thanksgiving, our reservation was at 5:15, but we were seated around 5:45. The service was great, we ordered right away, however the food took about an hour—not that we were in a rush. Dinner was good, but the cheesecake that came with the Thanksgiving dinner special was still frozen. My only suggestion would be to consider spacing out the reservations a bit more. - Overall we had a nice time.Is this helpful?

Unfortunately the management over booked the restaurant for Thanksgiving…. I am fairly certain many families were waiting much longer than us before we left. We had reservations at 5pm for 6 ppl. I booked it at least 3 weeks prior. At 5:35, we had to pull the plug and leave due to another commitment my daughter had at 7pm that evening. The time crunch would have been too stressful to enjoy the dinner had we stuck around. It would have been nice to receive a phone call indicating they are running late, we may have been able to rearrange things to handle a later dinner. They were able to confirm my reservation the prior day(probably automated)and indicate the 5pm table was ready after we had left at 5:39 all by text. Clearly my number was in the system?? I am not a restaurant manager and I have no idea what it takes to run a restaurant, but I think a small amount of communication may have helped a lot of situations, at least given the opportunity to re-adjust.Is this helpful?

We waited over an hour to be sent from our original reservation time, there was at least 75 people waiting to be sat because they overbooked. We had asked the host to bring me a chair because I had just had surgery and was unable to stand for a long period of time which they did not accommodate, when we got our food an hour after we sat down, it was cold.Is this helpful?

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving luncheon with friends. The turkey was moist and delicious. The mash potatoes and dressing were certainly not the best I’ve tasted yet they stole very little from the turkey. Our waitress, Liz, was wonderful and attentive even while she was being pulled in several directions. Overall, a great luncheon and would recommend to others.Is this helpful?
