   It was very good but we had a 7:30 reservation didn’t get seated until 8 and this happened the last time I was there as well and service was very slow

   It’s season here and busy so I don’t have the same expectation as off season. However, after 17 minutes past our reservation time I asked the status and it was vague on when it would be ready. We saw a an open table and scooped it. The That chicken wraps had a different lettuce which Trae’s food but was so small it was hard to fit the same regular size chicken pieces into a wrap. Glad to see serving spoons and hand wipes as that’s been a missing piece many times, but two of the serving spoons handles were sticky. We didn’t mention and just worked with what we had. The waitress was pleasant yet distracted; not filling water, forgetting lemons, forgetting to use up expiring credits that I had to ask twice to be applied. We’re members so we’ll be back, but seems like time to start specifying which server we’d like and get better communication on reservations being available at the time selected.

   It’s been a while since I went to Cooper’s Hawk to eat. But decided to go for my husband‘s 40th birthday with our family made a reservation and had to wait 25 minutes or so past the reservation time the food took quite a bit of time for the actual entrées to come out. I was not impressed with any of the food quality. It seems to have gone down since I’ve been there last which again has been a couple of years. I got the short rib and felt like the potatoes were not homemade and everything just seemed premade. The mixed vegetables were definitely overcooked and really not appetizing at all. Wasn’t extremely impressed like I used to be. Seems like they’ve cut corners to deal with how busy they are and to serve probably consistent food. However, the food is just not very good especially for the price. I might decide to go back for lunch sometime based off of the prices are definitely more reasonable for lunchtime. I can’t justify the dinner prices based off of the food and how it tasted.

   The waiter paid attention to details. He was available for questions, etc. Their special scallop dinners were delicious and had several scallops on each plate. You can’t go wrong at Cooper’s Hawk!

   Nick was wonderful during the wine tasting. Very personable and knowledgable. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed. Very kind. We got our appetizers before we ordered our entrees. We had to do some maneuvering to eat and hold on to our menus. Which then trickled to the kitchen being backed up by time we order our main courses. The Brussels sprouts are always amazing. I tried the egg rolls for the first time and they were great! I asked for a side of the chimichurri aioli to go with my surf and turf. Best decision ! Overall a great experience.

   Food was good, service was excellent. Waiting for the food was to much but we went when it was very busy. I had a bad experience with the hostess, when I ask for a table she told me the waiting was 1 hr. So I came to open table to make a reservation and the waiting was 15 minutes, and I notice it was table available, I guess she didn’t like me.
