   we were not informed that it would be a limited menu in spite of having asked twice while making reservation and when confirming. Even the ability to order bread was taken off the menu. After ordering a sour apple martini i was informed that they did not have any apple sour mix. What kind of bar on NYE is not prepared to make a very popular often ordered drink. The clam chowder was not hot and it was very lumpy. Now for the good, the bronzing was excellent as was the crab cake, although the masked potatoes and french fries were luke warm at best. The manager did the right thing and didn’t charge for the soup or caesar salad and offered two free desserts, which we accepted. However we were three people so we thought that was a bit weird. All in all it was not a very successful start to a New Year. They need to inform the hostess when she takes and confirms reservations to tell people that the menu will be quite modified. At their prices i expect better!

   We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Copperfish. The food and service were outstanding. Our server was great. He made our evening fun.

   We enjoyed our dinner and especially loved our waitress Gianna. She was so cordial and welcoming that made our dinner experience so much better.

   I made reservations for New Years Eve for indoors. It was a nice night so we asked to be seated outside which the graciously accommodated. The crab cakes were as excellent as the reviews claimed. Loaded with tasty crab meat. I ordered the NY Strip. It was cooked med-rare as requested but was served just barely warm. The plate was hot so it seemed like it was sitting under the heat lamps for a while. It was terribly under seasoned and tough. I wasn’t able to find any seasoning on the meat until the last 2 bites. I also was not provided a steak knife and struggled with the tough cut of meat with a butter knife. My wife ordered the stuffed shrimp which she said was very good. We had are hearts set on the carrot cake for dessert but they were sold out. Settled on a slice of key lime pie instead which we shared.

   First time back this season. Our waiter was very good, fun and attentive. Food was good overall but wasn’t what I remember. Definitely will go back as it’s one of our staples when in south Florida for the winter months

   Have always enjoyed this restaurant but our recent experience was a total disaster. Our waitress could not have cared less about us. Not only was her attitude poor but the servers who brought the food, in drips and drabs, were rude. Two of our three main dishes had to be returned. After years of dining there we will not be returning.

   First the food was absolutely delicious. It was unanimous. We all agreed that the food was great and very plentiful. My wife and I shared the cobb salad. It was great and could have served 3-4 people. The entrees were all around were the same. Delicious and more than we could finish. The service was friendly and very capable. I only wished the menu had more choices.
