   The food was excellent. We had the deviled eggs, wedge, waygu ribeye with extra crispy potatoes, as well as the butter cake. My boyfriend had Moscow mules and while he enjoyed, I would say the were subpar at best. While the food was good, the service wasn’t the best. We ordered our wedge without Gorgonzola and it came with it and we had to grab someone’s attention to remove. I have an allergy specific to that type of cheese. It took them 30 minutes to bring us a new salad. Not once during this time did our waiter check up on us or give us an update on what the status of our salad. Once we finished our salad it almost took equally as long for the steak to come out. We would have liked the waiter to have at least checked in on us more or given us updates with regards to our food ( given it took an abnormally long time), and the restaurant was very slow.

   Great atmosphere for a small dinner party and private enough for a date or solo meal. The location has the advantage of being in the heart of downtown; so walk-ability to desired points of interest are a plus but makes for parking to be a minus. In terms of food, their dinner menu is a nice balance of of options without it being exhaustive - solid selections for every foodie. Notable things to try are the braised wagyu and rotisserie chicken. Corinne’s is on the pricier side with entrees ranging from $25 - 65 pp and the portions are what you would expect from a higher end restaurant - on the smaller side - but they are packed with so much flavor that you’ll absolutely devour every last bite and be clamoring for more. It’s your looking for cocktails their drinks are well crafted and expensive; you’re looking at $16 per drink so catching them at a happy hour or enjoying a glass of wine with your meal may be a better option financially. Overall, Corinne’s is quite the destination for an evening out with friends or loved ones, there’s plenty of choices for even the pickiest people and it’ll be hard to walk away from this experience without a great memory to follow.

   Instead of making a repeat-visit to one of our many favorite spots in Austin, to celebrate my husband’s birthday, I decided to give Corinne a shot for the first time. We were greeted by the host with a birthday wish which was very sweet but she didn’t properly check us in because the next morning, we received a no-show response from OpenTable. (I take my reservations very seriously so I’m offended at being accused of not showing up!) When booking, I didn’t realize that it was a hotel restaurant so despite the otherwise nice ambiance, there were other diners who were dressed extremely casually (one couple was basically wearing their pajamas.) Not the best experience for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious and satisfying. We started with several small-plates with every intention of splitting a main but there was no way that we could have handled any more food. The TIRAMISU CARAJILLO cocktail was hilarious: basically dessert. For my second cocktail, I ordered a MEZCAL NEGRONI which was much more my speed. I was surprised to find out that the WILD MUSHROOM BOLOGNESE was 100% vegetarian and the FALL VEGETABLE SALAD was surprisingly delicious. Our server did not know if the SPINACH and AVOCADO CAESAR contained anchovies but he did check with the kitchen and confirmed that it did. The server was generally sweet but he was a low-talker and essentially impossible to hear over the music. After several requests to speak up, he still never really adjusted. He could work on that, for sure.

   Food, service and hospitality was top notch. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming and Jonathan, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable and made the night feel special. Highly recommend!

   We had made a reservation weeks in advance and arrived 10 minutes early. When we arrived we were told in a not very polite manner that they were running behind and it would be about a 25 min wait. The restaurant was crowded, and it appeared others were told the same thing. We were seated about 30 mins past our reservation time, and it was another 10 mins until we received menus and water. Two of us ordered mushroom bolognese which was undercooked and underwhelming. Prime rib was good, dessert fairly good. Restaurant is quite noisy and just not overall worth waiting for. Located inside a Marriott hotel. Would not choose to return.

   We had reservations for 6:45 (we arrived 5 mins early) but didn’t get seated until 7:05. Over an hour before our food to arrive. Bread rolls ran out by the time we got seated. It was Christmas Day so I get the craziness. Our Wagyu steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The prime rib was tender and delicious. One star off because the whole point of making a reservation is to not have to wait.

    Amazing Christmas dinner and cocktails! Their tiramisu dessert cocktail paired with the peanut butter pie is a heavenly combination. First time eating here and we will be back!
