Another wonderful brunch at Corso! There’s literally not a single thing on the menu that isn’t fantastic, but this time I tried the eggs Benedict and it was amazing. Even the fries are out of this world!! If you can get Jum as a server, bonus points because she is the best, and everyone knows my deep love and admiration for Corso’s manager JR. Walk don’t run to try out their weekend brunch!!

Loved Corso’s location, right in the middle of Shirlington. We did patio seating and it was a great ambiance. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, however, the food was very bland and tasteless. We ordered apps, arancini and multiple pastas. We can say with confidence, the best tasting menu items were the drinks and the free bread.

Food and service were excellent. We sat near the open front door, which made the experience very loud and distracting. There was a lot of noise from the neighboring restaurant. Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant and will keep coming back.

We had a table in the board room, which allowed us to have a quiet conversation with one another. However the weird layout made it difficult for the servers to refill water, etc. We had higher hopes for the food. The Ceasar salad was underdressed with stale croutons. The side pasta was watery & lacked flavor. The scallop risotto entree & whipped ricotta starter were delicious. The service was okay but slower than we expected.

Our waiter, Scott, was great. The food was quite good. However, service from the kitchen was tremendously slow, even with a half-empty restaurant. We ordered the bottomless brunch, and ended up waiting easily 20 minutes for each round, including the dishes that would seemingly be mass-prepped, plus the focaccia. Something as simple as a fruit plate came out well after eggs benedict. We waited so long for dessert, we had to ask for it to be boxed up. If this is the norm, the small plates need to be more substantial.
